The Active Base Method: BASE → BUILD → PROGRESS

A continuous framework for establishing where you are, identifying what is limiting you, building capacity and showing meaningful progress.

What to expect

Not a rigid three-appointment process

BASE → BUILD → PROGRESS is a clinical reasoning framework, not a fixed package or sequence of three visits. The cycle continues as capacity changes: reassess, identify the next target and keep building.

It applies across adulthood and across musculoskeletal rehabilitation, post-operative care, active ageing, DVA and community physiotherapy.

  • BASE — know where you stand
  • BUILD — build what you are missing
  • PROGRESS — see how far you have come
  • REASSESS — establish the next meaningful target
  • CONTINUE BUILDING — move toward greater capacity
